One thousand of women, the members of Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) Surabaya, have broken the MURI record in making 10,000 ketupats while wearing sarong. According to Marketing Manager of PT Pismatex, Enjang Dana Resi, the company held this event to preserve ketupat culture, also ask people to not to embarrassed of wearing sarong which is a noble culture of Indonesia.
